Kester Black was founded in 2014 by designer Anna Ross in Australia, with the goal of bleding ethics and beauty to redefine the industry standards. It´s simple, Kester Black makes nail polish that’s nice to you and nice to the planet. The specialities of the polishes are their breathability and water permeatility. Because of its water permeable formula the polish allows water penetration on a molecular level. Despite a shiny stable surface on the nail, the nails can be painted with the most beautiful colors and grow naturally at the same time. While no nail polish can ever be fully free of chemicals, the polishes are free of ten of the nastiest nasties that are commonly found in standard polishes. 10-free means: free of formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, camphor, formaldehyde resin, xylene, parabens, fragrances, phthalates, ethyl tosylamide, triphenyl phosphate or animal derived or animal tested ingredients. All products are made in Australia, cruelty free free and vegan - always have been, and always will be! Kester Black takes responsibility from the packaging to the way they run their business. The products are packaged with recyclable materials, they do voluntary service and at least 2% of the sales are donated to local charities every year.
