An exclusive selection of sustainable, high-quality and predominantly vegan face care products. Since every skin is different and has different needs, every skin type needs a tailor-made routine. It is therefore important to recognize your own skin type in order to understand which products are suitable. Here you will find everything you could need, whether for dry skin, very sensitive skin, mature skin or even combination skin.
Identify your skin type: In order to understand how to do good for your skin, it is important to find out what type of skin you have. Your skin type determines which products might be helpful for your skin and which might not, as each skin type has different needs.
Normal skin:The skin feels neither oily nor dry and usually has a very even complexion. The pores are often small and the skin appears balanced. It tends to be dry rather than having blemishes. You are lucky with this skin type because it does not need much. However, a few products, such as sun protection, cannot be ruled out to keep the skin in tip-top condition.
Dry skin:Dry skin can look brittle, cracked, flaky and red. It is usually prone to itching, irritation and feels tight. Environmental factors such as hot air, wind or air conditioning, but also stress, diet and hormone levels often play a role here. In this skin type, the skin's protective barrier is weakened, making the skin more susceptible to harmful environmental influences and, for example, the first signs of skin aging can appear more quickly.
Oily skin:Oily skin tends to leave an oily film on the skin and have enlarged or irritated pores because too much sebum is produced, which clogs the pores. The sebaceous glands produce this oily substance to form a protective film for the skin and thus stop harmful external influences. The advantage of oily skin is that it is usually well moisturized and therefore signs of skin aging often appear later. However, blemishes, acne and pimples are common here.
Combination skin:Combination skin tends to be oily with dry areas - usually areas outside the "T-zone" (forehead, nose and chin). The cheeks are often dry, while the T-zone is oily and prone to blemishes. Here too, different factors play a role, such as stress, but also environmental factors.
Very sensitive/delicate skin:This skin can be oily, normal or dry, but usually tends to be dry. The skin reacts quickly, becomes irritated and redness occurs, especially if you use too many products in your routine or the wrong products.
Mature skin:Mature skin is not a skin type in itself, but rather an addition. Over time, the skin loses elasticity, so that the complexion often appears pale and dull. This appearance is also caused by the fact that skin tends to dry out and become more sensitive as we age, which means it needs to be supplied with more nutrients and regenerated. Wrinkles quickly become noticeable, especially in the areas around the eyes and mouth. The skin here is thinner than in the rest of the face and is often drier. In addition to genetic influences, external factors also affect skin aging. The most important of these is UV radiation. Its influence is the main reason for the premature formation of wrinkles. Lifestyle habits and diet also have an impact on your skin. For example, smokers age visually faster than non-smokers.
