Who is Karine Dubreuil- Sereni, perfumer for candle 06?
Since living in Grasse as a child and attending the Roure perfumery school (now Givaudan), Karine Dubreuil-Sereni has created iconic fragrances like Lanvin Eclat d’Arpège and become a nose for Bon Parfumeur. Jasmine, orange blossom, mimosa, rose, iris, anise and exquisite citrus fruits are the ingredients Karine finds most addictive, reminding her of her childhood in Grasse. “Creativity, for me, is how open we are to the world, how curious we are.” That is why Karine’s sources of inspiration are so diverse: travel, a raw material, a new plant, a good meal... and above all art. She thinks that “being a Bon Parfumeur means never losing your inner child, spontaneity and creativity.”

What is the olfactory profile of the blackcurrant note ?
Perfumers may use this berry to create fruity, fresh or even floral and sweet fragrances. Blackcurrant has a distinctive fruity note that recalls fresh berries but it is also blended with more complex facets such as blackcurrant leaf, which can impart a green and herbaceous feel.

What characterizes mandarin in perfumery ?
The olfactory profile of mandarin is characterized by a vibrant freshness and fruity sweetness. Its scent is cheerful, sparkling and almost bursting with juice, like the fruit. The dominant notes are of freshly peeled orange skin with accents of sweet and sour citrus fruits.

What does tomato leaf add to a fragrance ?
The tomato leaf note is herbaceous and often used as a base note for its powerful trail. It offers a wealth of freshness and green notes. It is often combined with fruity, floral or even citrus notes.

Do not leave unattended. For the first use, light the candle for 1 to 2 hours so that the wax melts to the edge of the glass. The candle should be protected from drafts and the wick should be shortened to 1 cm before each use. This will keep it looking good for longer.

An ode to nature. Like a morning in the countryside in bed, sheltering from a seemingly never ending downpour that awakens the aromas of nature’s bounty. Get back to the power ofnature with a herbaceous candle that recalls the childhood scent of tomato leaves lingering on the fingers. The aromatic notes of mint and tarragon accentuate the botanical facet of this candle. Mandarin and blackcurrant energize this blend with their zesty accents, while the woody patchouli note adds depth, giving a crisp and fresh candle.
Bon Parfumeur scented candles are made with love and passion. The composition of the wax is half mineral, half vegetable and free from palm oil. Rapeseed oil wax is used, as this natural wax does not release any toxic substances when burned and spreads a wonderfully fragrant scent! The wick is made of braided cotton to prevent black smoke.

The scented candles are created with love and passion, and are wholly recyclable. The composition of the wax is half mineral, half plant-based, and free of palm oil. Rapeseed oil wax, also called colza plant wax, is used as this natural wax does not release toxic substances when burning and spreads a wonderfully fragrant scent, without having its own overpowering odor. The wick is made of braided cotton to avoid black smoke. Each candle can burn up to approximately 50 hours.
