The Māori use kowhai extract as an herbal remedy for itchy skin, abrasions and pain in muscles and bones. Kowhai leaves have traditionally been used as a cleansing, moisturising and soothing agent. Tamanu oil has been used for centuries by the indigenous people of Tahiti to rub into their bodies when bathing, preparing for war and while looking for a mate. Today it is considered a modern wonder plant known for its antibacterial and healing properties and for promoting elastic, supple skin. Peppermint oil is full of goodness and contains minerals and nutrients such as manganese, iron, magnesium, calcium, folate, potassium and copper. It also contains omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin A and vitamin C. It is a natural stimulant and healing agent.
