Oak extract is obtained from the bark of the tree Quercus robur and contains tannins, which are the strongest natural astringent. It strengthens blood vessels and also reacts with proteins found in the skin, changing its structure. As a result, the upper layers of tissue solidify and pores are thus refined in the long term. Zinc oxide is a white pigment that occurs naturally. It is a common UV filter that protects the skin from harmful UVB and UVA rays.
