Candle 04 – Smoked Black Tea, Mugwort, Birch

A spellbinding scent that starts off with the subtle smoky scent of Lapsang Souchong black tea, before the aromatic and botanical facets of mugwort lend a surprising and unexpected freshness. Lapsang Souchong gets its intense, astonishingly smoky, floral and woody notes thanks to the drying process after harvest, in which the tea is smoked on a pinewood fire. Notes of birch wood then add depth and distinctive warm, sweet and leathery undertones. Balanced at just the right amount, birch wood can bring depth and sweet-warm as well as leathery notes to a scent, which Bon Parfumeur achieved in this candle.
The scented candles are created with love and passion, and are wholly recyclable. The composition of the wax is half mineral, half plant-based, and free of palm oil. Rapeseed oil wax, also called colza plant wax, is used as this natural wax does not release toxic substances when burning and spreads a wonderfully fragrant scent, without having its own overpowering odor. The wick is made of braided cotton to avoid black smoke. Each candle can burn up to approximately 50 hours.
