Do not place the candle outdoors or in draughts, near flammable materials and on heat-sensitive surfaces. Let the wax surface become completely liquid when lighting the candle for the first time, so that the candle burns evenly. Use a candle extinguisher to extinguish the candle, this prevents the wick from sooting and ensures that it remains evenly lit. If the wick is too long, cut it back to approx. 5 mm before each further lighting. The scented candle should not be left unattended and should not burn for more than four hours at a time. To avoid burns, the candle glass should cool down well before touching it.
