The aloe vera water is obtained from the leaf pulp of the aloe vera plant, and is beneficial for the skin thanks to various minerals, amino acids and flavonoids that soothe and hydrate. It is rich in antioxidants, sugars, lipids, enzymes as well as vitamins A, C and E, and is highly anti-inflammatory. Mucopolysaccharides help replenish and retain moisture in the skin as it has shown to retain the water content of the outermost layer of skin making it an ideal ingredient for dry skin types. Additionally, aloe stimulates the production of hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin fibres in the skin — all of which are necessary to keep the skin hydrated, firm, and supple, and all of which decline naturally with age. Applying aloe vera topically has been shown to help restore skin elasticity and decrease the appearance of fine lines. In addition to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, aloe vera is also a natural source of salicylic acids, which can also help with breakouts such as blackheads and whiteheads.

How to use: Spray the mist evenly on cleansed skin or over make-up as a setting spray twice a day, or as often as desired. It is best to use the mist after cleansing, but before a serum and/or facial oil, as this allows the products to be better absorbed by the skin. For an enhanced refreshing effect, store the mist in the refrigerator.
