Based in Barcelona, Spain, German designer Romy Kowalewski founded her label 27 87 in 2016 with the clear intention of conceiving unisex perfumes that emphasize the individuality of their wearers. The label ushered in a new era of artistic perfumery by capturing the spirit of today's lifestyle in uniquely blended fragrances while staying true to the standard of traditional craftsmanship. In an industry of mostly opulent designs and nostalgic stories, Romy strived to create a brand that represented the art of perfumery in the 21st century.
