Johan Bergelin: “In 1969, a naked woman carrying a cross, walked through the Copenhagen Stock Exchange. The performance act went under the name “Female Christ”. The social revolution and constant transgression of boundaries in the late 1960s meant that artists expressions took new directions. Some artists opposed of dominant values and behavior of society by using performance art: art that exists while in progress. However, this also means that significant voices and parts of art historý from this time period risk to fade as they only exist as photographic or filmed records. By creating a fragrance with the same name, 19-69 ensures that the memory is immortalized”.

“We went there in a taxi; I was naked underneath my black coat, and kept the cross against my stomach... I was amazingly nervous... But suddenly they were in full swing. David stood by the exit, filming, and Bjørn was walking with a tape recorder and with my clothes, and then I started walking. I remember a rope was suddenly blocking my way. I wasn ́t expecting that, so that was quite weird, but then I just kept walking with the cross, holding it up high at first and then downwards, the way you hold a yo-yo. Then it was over. And you could have heard a pin drop! Someone shouted “But – you can ́t do that!” and “Good Heavens! Look, Sørensen, look!” Then we went out to the taxi waiting outside and drove away.”

Please follow these tips to ensure that many beautiful moments with the scented candle are guaranteed. Do not place the candle outdoors or in draughts, near flammable materials and on heat-sensitive surfaces. Let the wax surface become completely liquid when lighting the candle for the first time, so that the candle burns evenly. Use a candle extinguisher to extinguish the candle, this prevents the wick from sooting and ensures that it remains evenly lit. If the wick is too long, cut it back to approx. 5 mm before each further lighting. The scented candle should not be left unattended and should not burn for more than four hours at a time. To avoid burns, the candle glass should cool down well before touching it.
