Sapote, also called Caribbean apricot, is the fruit of Pouteria sapota, a plant native to Central America, belonging to the family of Sapotaceae, along with argan and shea. From the seed of Sapote is extracted an oil, rich in antioxidants, anti-aging substances and characterized by strengthening and restructuring properties. The oil makes the hair shiny and contributes to the fight against seborrheic dermatitis, which often causes hair loss. Sapote oil was already known and used by the Mayans and Aztecs to strengthen the hair. Kukui nut oil is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, linoleic and linolenic acid, has a high content of vitamins A, B and E and contains the phytohormones campesterol, stigmasterol and beta-sitosterol. The unsaturated fatty acids contained in the oil are said to support the build-up of epidermal ceramides and make the oil particularly effective in the care of sensitive skin, neurodermatitis and impure skin. Due to its high content of α-linolenic acid and vitamins A and E, kukui nut oil is said to have a skin-firming and moisture-regulating effect. Kukui nut oil provides the skin with an extra portion of lipids and protects against moisture loss and negative environmental influences. A winner of the European Innovation prize for “Best Active Ingredient”, Swiss apple stem cells protect human skin cells and help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Known for their own longevity, the rare Swiss apple is rich in phytonutrients and proteins, and has the unique ability to heal themselves.

Kaufempfehlung
