Jojoba is one of the most valuable oils in cosmetics because of its moisturising, penetration and skin-feel properties. This oil is markedly similar to the structure of fat (sebum) in human skin. As a result, jojoba oil can be quickly absorbed into skin, moisturising it, and facilitate the absorption of active ingredients. Hyaluronic acid can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water making it a highly effective component in moisturizers. It helps to reduce wrinkles, making the skin look younger with an improved skin tone. Lower molecular weight hyaluronic acid penetrates deeper and has more effective hydrating properties as well as increasing the production of collagen. Mica is a natural mineral that can be found in rocks and sand. Pure nature-identical mica is used in natural cosmetics to give the product a glittering or sparkling effect. Mica has large particle size, that does not penetrate skin, making it a safe, stable and non-allergic ingredient. Lady’s mantle extract is obtained from the flowers and leaves of the plant Alchemilla vulgaris. Lady’s mantle contains a very high concentration of polyphenols, and is a powerful free-radical scavenger, while neutralising up to 90% of oxidative stress and stimulating the synthesis of collagen fibres. Raspberry seed oil is cold pressed from the seeds of Rubus idaeus. It contains extremely high amounts of essential fatty acids Omega 3 and Omega 6 and has exceptional concentrations of gamma-tocopherol (Vitamin E) and phenols, which are powerful antioxidants. Raspberry oil improves the hydration and elasticity of the skin, it works to correct the signs of ageing and reduce oxidative stress.

How to use: Gently exfoliate your skin and pay extra attention to elbows, knees and heels – insider tip: coffee grounds are a great zero waste exfoliator option.
