About the Fragrance:

We live in a time of abundance - a cascade, if you will - of consumption, media, and daily impressions. Torn between the perceived expectations of others and our own needs, we often find ourselves in a state of restlessness that's hard to escape. silent vow. was composed with the intention of releasing us from that inner turbulence. It acts as a permission to pause - a gentle reminder to reconnect with ourselves.

The opening delights with bergamot, setting the tone. Pink pepper adds harmony and a sense of familiarity, while cardamom brings a breath of fresh spice.

Saffron, a symbol of courage and devotion, joins the heart of the fragrance alongside rose, rounded out by the sweet, resinous warmth of labdanum.

In the base, grounding amyris, deep Amber Xtreme, and the green-woody complexity of oakmoss embody the acceptance of our shadow selves—preserving balance and inner peace.

“It is the silence within us that shields us—and those around us—from the noise of the world, that holds us, and gives rise to love.”

What can I imagine this fragrance to be like?

Fragrance notes alone often aren’t enough to give us a clear idea of what a perfume actually smells like. That’s why we at Woodberg tested the scent for you without focusing on the listed notes.

The Fragrance from Woodberg’s Perspective

One thing was clear to all of us: there’s bergamot in it, and it lingers for quite a while. Initially zesty and fresh, it soon gives way to a sunlit warmth. Words like “relaxing” and “restorative” came up repeatedly. Some of us were reminded of incense, others of essential oils, and some felt transported to a luxurious spa. The consensus? This scent is pure wellness.

Why equality.?

Founded by Lukas Görlitz, equality. stands out from other brands through its unique ethos. Inspired by an increasingly tense political climate, the young founder set out to find a medium through which he could express his values of love, openness, and tolerance. His search led him to the world of fragrance.

With our memories and emotions deeply tied to our sense of smell, he saw perfumery as a way to create an atmosphere that brings people together. But equality. doesn’t stop at expressing these values—it actively advocates for them.

Since its inception, the brand has partnered with the International Justice Mission (IJM), a global organization dedicated to ending slavery and combating violence against people living in poverty. In collaboration with IJM, equality. focuses specifically on protecting children in the Philippines, donating a large portion of its proceeds to support this cause.

So if you’re looking for a fragrance that not only makes you feel good, but also does good for others, we wholeheartedly recommend Silent Vow.
