Active ingredients

Zinc naturally blocks UV light from hitting the skin. It reflects the sun's UV rays, preventing most of them from damaging the skin. Because zinc oxide is not absorbed into the skin, it is non-irritating, non-allergenic and non-comedogenic. Also known as the New Zealand pepper tree, kawakawa was one of the most important plants in rongoā (traditional Māori medicine), used externally for cuts, injuries and bruises, as well as to treat toothache, hives and eczema due to its natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Manuka oil is probably New Zealand's most widely used native plant. In Jaggr, it is used for its protective and moisturising properties, leaving lips feeling firm and hydrated.
