Lord knows i’m a Voodoo child – Voodoo Flowers draws its raw power from the blues rock of the late 60s and early 70s and catapults them into the here and now. This fragrance is strong in character, leaves a distinctive impression and demands to be worn just as confidently. The scent spreads like the vibrating sound of a valve amplifier turned up to the maximum, it literally glows and screams at each rhythmic strike of the guitar string. A sound full of energy that brings crazy cellar clubs to the boil. A seductive demon who neither fits in nor wants to please – the one who’s always in demand. Voodoo Flowers is captivatingly woody-floral and seduces the senses with an unmistakable smoky fragrance. Like a mysterious force that magically envelops us. The top note is dominated by an aromatic composition of gin, sage, champagne and lime. The heart note unfolds a lush floral bouquet of iris, violet and rose pepper, while balsamic-smoky base notes of styrax, leather and cedar reinforce the character with their weight and dominance. Black magic.

Auf der Suche nach neuen Ausdrucksweisen gründete der Designer Mario Lombardo 2016 das Dufthaus Atl. Oblique in Berlin, um seinen Lebensweg und Erinnerungen aus der Kindheit in olfaktorischen Akkorden festzuhalten. Der Name Oblique leitet sich aus dem französischen Begriff für „Italic“, also eine schräg gestellte Schrift, ab und schlägt so Brücken zwischen dem Dufthaus und Lombardos Designwurzeln.
