Antje is the owner of e.e.m. Naturkosmetik and she can always be found in her shop. The idea to establish Erica did not come out of the blue. After 20 years of being employed, it was time for Antje to create something of her own. The expectations for her business and the product range are high, and hair soaps have long been a significant topic. How nice and practical that Mother Thomsen has been running a soap-making business for several years now. So, at its core, it is like this: Mother makes the soap and daughter sells it – a family business, after all. Of course, it goes far beyond just the soaps, but these are a matter of the heart. By the way, the name e.e.m. is simply explained – that’s what Grandma is called. This almost makes it a three-generation company. Sustainability is at the forefront. When you buy shower gel and shampoo for daily care, you end up with an empty plastic bottle. When you use soap, nothing is left, at most a paper banderole.
