As a passionate perfumer, architect, and designer, Véronique Le Bihan views all these art forms from the same perspective: the transformation and processing of raw materials. This is her inspiration. After twelve years in product development for cosmetics and fragrances, she decided to create a brand of subtle luxury that aligns with her ethical, social, and ecological values, thus founding Atelier Materi. An honest, sincere, and authentic luxury that takes the time to perfect itself. Atelier Materi is inspired by the raw beauty of materials and the careful processes of their transformation, which is why a single natural raw material is at the center of each fragrance. Believing that the hand of an artist gives a product its soul, Atelier Materi works hand in hand with artists, starting from the careful sourcing of raw materials, with respect for fair trade, locality, transparency, and sustainability at the forefront, all the way to the creation of the fragrances, bottles, and packaging. Every material used is worked on and tamed until its true beauty emerges. Therefore, each fragrance is developed over time and made from the finest materials to offer a minimalist and contemporary scent signature, where the raw materials are expressed in structured and distinctive compositions. Carefully shaped by the perfumer and placed at the center of contrasting scent combinations, the raw material reveals itself and unfolds its rarest nuances and facets.
