A captivating scent that begins with the subtle, smoky aroma of black tea Lapsang Souchong, before the aromatic and botanical facets of the mugwort leaf give it a surprising and unexpected freshness. The Lapsang Souchong gains its intense, remarkably smoky, floral, and woody notes through the drying process after harvest, where the tea is smoked over a pine wood fire. Notes of birch wood then add depth and distinctive warm, sweet, and leathery undertones. In the right dosage, birch wood can impart depth and sweet-warm as well as leathery notes to a fragrance, which Bon Parfumeur has achieved with this scent.
