Dark clouds gather overhead. The sea still appears calm, almost withdrawn into itself. Salt hangs in the air, mixed with the scent of wet wood, tar, and smoke drifting slowly across the water. In the distance, the first waves begin to break – a storm announcing itself, at first only as a faint, almost intangible tension.
Then the water begins to move. The waves grow, draw closer, and eventually pull everything with them that stands in their path. Wind lifts sand and salty spray into the air, a heavy pressure settling over the landscape. Anyone approaching the sea now can feel its raw, unpredictable force.
Eventually the storm subsides. The wind softens and the water slowly begins to smooth again. The waves that once carried everything away now break against submerged structures – remnants of a world that until recently seemed permanent. The fragrance translates this scene into an atmospheric composition moving between salty vastness, smoky weight, and a cool, almost mineral air.

Is there a sample available for every fragrance?
Yes – we offer a sample of every fragrance in our range, as long as it’s not sold out. If you’d like to explore a whole brand, our Discovery Sets usually bring together some of its most important fragrances in one set.
Is the fragrance in the sample the same as in the original bottle?
Our fragrance samples are decants of 100% original perfumes. Each fragrance is carefully filled directly from the brand’s original bottle into a convenient spray vial. So you’re testing the exact same fragrance you’ll find in the full-size bottle.
How many ml are in each sample?
Each sample you order from us contains at least 1.5ml of fragrance. The glass vial itself holds 3ml, which is why it won’t be filled all the way to the top. So no worries – your 1.5ml are definitely in there.
Why are my fragrance samples filled to different levels?
Since we fill every sample by hand, the fill level may vary slightly from one vial to another. From time to time, we also include a complimentary fragrance sample with your order. These are meant as a little extra to discover something new and therefore contain slightly less than our regular 1.5 mlsamples.
Are the fragrance name and ingredients listed on the sample?
The fragrance name and brand are listed on every sample. If you’d like to learn more about the ingredients, you can find them on the relevant product page in our online shop or on your invoice.
