Fragrances of the Eau de Cologne type are usually very volatile and fade after a short time. The Nose wanted to create an extremely long-lasting citrus note and primarily used a raw material from Italy for this purpose. Bergamask is the citrus note fragrance with the longest presence ever created in this category.

The significance of sweat plays a major role in the creation of this scent. Sweat is an authentic expression of a person's current state: how they feel, what they have eaten, the condition of their body, their habits, the speed of their movement. Sweat is an indicator of the potential for affection between two people. The right person can be recognized by their scent among thousands of others. Sweat wears no mask; it can be perceived as extremely attractive or terribly repulsive.

A PACKAGING THAT LEADS TO NEW DISCOVERIESAll fragrances from ORTO PARISI are hidden in a box that unfolds in individual facets and hints at an opening towards infinity in the center.  The scent of Bergamask is presented in a glass bottle with an antique gold cap and an inlay of light horn.  The label made of natural white paper has the texture of 'Savile Row Tweed' and features an extremely fine herringbone structure.

Two notes are present in all fragrances: 'PISSE DE CHEVAL' and 'BOYA BUTTER'. Boya butter is the butter from precious Agarwood that forms in the heartwood of trees of the genus Aquilaria when they are infected with a special type of mold. The heartwood is odorless, thin, and light before infection. After infection, it turns dark and produces an extremely aromatic resin called Agar, which is also known as 'Oud'.  First-grade Agarwood is one of the most expensive natural raw materials in the world. The scent of Agarwood is complex and enchanting, and there are virtually no other substances that come close to it.  Behind the so-called 'pisse de cheval' lies the organic component p-Cresol, which is produced during the bacterial fermentation of human protein and is excreted with feces and urine. It is also a component of tobacco smoke and human sweat, which attracts female mosquitoes. In the Orto Parisi collection, p-Cresol plays a role in creating repulsive and attractive notes. It is an essential component in the body odor of pigs and is produced during the mating season by male elephants.  It is one of the rare components that attracts Euglossini – the so-called orchid bees – and has been extensively used in this context to capture and study the species. A repulsive lure that brings the hidden scent of the soul to life. These two extremely subtly processed base components represent the contradiction between attraction and repulsion in a balanced combination with other raw materials. They invite those who smell the fragrances on an endless journey to discover life through the sense of smell.
