Along the artfully curved wood of the long hallway, a hand runs across the wall, follows its curves, feels the slightly rough yet soft surface, warm and familiar. At the end of the hallway a room opens up, soft daylight spilling out of it. With every step forward it gets a little brighter, and the smell of warm wood a little stronger. And slowly what lies hidden reveals itself, waiting to be filled with life.

Douglas fir opens the fragrance fresh and resinous, cardamom and black pepper laying a dry spice over it. Orris root brings a powdery, earthy calm, frankincense resin a warm, faintly smoky depth. Oakwood, vetiver and patchouli round it all off with a dry, earthy woodiness. A warm, dry fragrance that recalls a warm wooden interior.

Studio Pneuma

Studio Pneuma was founded in 2019 in Copenhagen by Diana Lindboe and Camilla Boccardi Christensen – born from the idea that scent, design, and space can move us not just aesthetically, but emotionally. What began within the context of architecture and spatial design evolved into a fragrance line that seeks to do more than simply smell pleasant. Studio Pneuma’s perfumes act as sensory triggers – evoking memories, moods, and thoughts. Each creation is deliberately composed and free from conventional fragrance clichés. Subtle yet present, they don’t demand attention – they stay with you. This philosophy is reflected in the design as well. In collaboration with design agency DNA, Studio Pneuma developed an exclusive 100ml flacon – soft, organic, and sculptural in the hand. Each bottle is mouth-blown in Denmark, making every piece unique. Here, form becomes part of the experience. Studio Pneuma stands for fragrances with conviction: clear in language, quiet in presence, and deep in effect.
