Jade Facial Roller

Jade is according to Chinese mythology an energy stone and has a healing, cleansing effect and balancing properties in the acid-base balance. The green stone particularly soothes inflamed skin and has a positive effect on skin prone to impurities. It brings peace and harmony, is said to attract luck and opportunities, and is known for reducing stress.  

Before using the roller, apply a few drops of facial oil to the skin, as this allows the roller to glide smoothly over the skin and the oil can be absorbed better. Start in the middle of the face, under the eyes and cheekbones, and work in short, gentle strokes towards the hairline. Gently work down to the jawbone. Then roll from the chin to the lower end of the ears. Next, roll over the forehead in an outward and upward motion. Use the smaller roller especially gently around the eyes. Finally, roll down along the sides of the neck and then towards the center of the collarbone; this helps to move accumulated fluid in the face towards the center of the body, where it can be processed better. For an extra de-puffing and soothing effect, keep the stone in the refrigerator.
