Suddenly, a black cat darts across your path. You flinch. Your steps quicken. A rustle in the bushes. You stop for a second. Was that something? Cold fog slowly rolls across the ground, creeping over the street. Then you hear it: footsteps behind you. Quiet at first, then getting closer. You speed up. So do they. Your pulse starts racing.
