Green Cedar by Abel captivates with the deep, full scent of green cedar, hinting at the raw character of wild cedarwood. The fragrance blends two distinct cedar sources: one harvested from the forests of Texas, the other from the rugged heights of Morocco’s Atlas Mountains. Double distillation gives the Texas cedar a dry, clean note rarely found in cedar scents. In contrast, the Moroccan cedar brings rich, sweet undertones. Natural magnolia, cypriol, cardamom, and smoky guaiacwood add unexpected layers. The result is an intoxicating and unmistakable olfactory experience.

Behind the Fragrance

"Green Cedar was the sixth fragrance that Isaac and I worked on together and it really feels like a coming of age scent to me. We weren’t trying too hard, it was playful, free-flowing and explorative. We started with some of our favourite ingredients - cedarwood, magnolia, cardamom and just went from there. Some of my favourite moments were deep diving the unique terroir of these special ingredients from different regions, cultivated by different hands. The wild harvested Moroccan cedarwood smells like Morocco looks - vibrant and powerful, so we chose to pair it with a Texan cedarwood that is extremely pure in profile and a by-product of the paper industry - a harmonious juxtaposition.
