BDK Parfums is an independent perfume house based in Paris, founded in 2016 by David Benedek. The name, derived from his initials, stands for a new, storytelling approach to French perfumery. These are not fashion fragrances, but olfactory portraits that tell a story – inspired by Parisian neighbourhoods like Palais Royal, where Benedek grew up. Each fragrance is part of a kind of scent library, brought to life through imagination and interpretation. A signature of BDK is the play with contrasts: warm, leathery creations like Tabac Rose, fresh compositions like Citrus Riviera, or sweet classics like Velvet Tonka unfold with emotional depth, often oscillating between melancholy and sensuality. All perfumes are crafted exclusively in France, using locally sourced ingredients and hand-produced flacons.
