Love at First Sight – Eau de Parfum – 100ml

High up in the hills of Johannesburg you can see it, the colourful play of the jacarandas. Their lilac-blue blossoms adorn the sprawl of the city. Like small lavender pom-poms they pop out playfully between the lush green treetops, spreading their mild but tempting sweetness through the streets. With the colour comes spring, and with it the anticipation of the sunny days ahead.

Love at First Sight opens with passion fruit and bergamot, fruity and zesty. The first few minutes are almost tropical. Then lilac takes over and carries the fragrance through to the end. It smells green and slightly damp, like a real bush after the rain, when the sun comes back out. Underneath sits acacia with its honeyed sweetness. In the base, cashmeran and ambroxan give it a warm, dry, woody finish. What stays is the impression of trees in bloom after a spring shower, of warm wood and the first real warmth on your skin.
