A day in childhood that stands apart: the annual fair is in town. On Saturday, everyone knows what’s coming. A visit is unavoidable. With the first step onto the wide open ground where the fair has been set up, a sweet, sticky scent fills the air - cotton candy and bubblegum. Stall after stall lines the way, vendors placing sugary treats into small and grown hands alike, indulgences reserved for days like this. In the background, shouts blend with the rattling of a small roller coaster. It rushes past, loud and impatient, leaving behind a haze of gasoline and the heated metal of its tracks. After a long wait in line, it’s finally your turn. The seat is still warm from the last rider, and an unexpected trace of rose lingers in the air. Where it comes from is unclear - and doesn’t matter. A few rides later, you’re back in the parking lot. The sweetness of cotton candy still rests on the tongue, slowly fading, until all that remains is memory. A memory you return to long after childhood has passed.

Is there a sample available for every fragrance?
Yes – we offer a sample of every fragrance in our range, as long as it’s not sold out. If you’d like to explore a whole brand, our Discovery Sets usually bring together some of its most important fragrances in one set.
Is the fragrance in the sample the same as in the original bottle?
Our fragrance samples are decants of 100% original perfumes. Each fragrance is carefully filled directly from the brand’s original bottle into a convenient spray vial. So you’re testing the exact same fragrance you’ll find in the full-size bottle.
How many ml are in each sample?
Each sample you order from us contains at least 1.5ml of fragrance. The glass vial itself holds 3ml, which is why it won’t be filled all the way to the top. So no worries – your 1.5ml are definitely in there.
Why are my fragrance samples filled to different levels?
Since we fill every sample by hand, the fill level may vary slightly from one vial to another. From time to time, we also include a complimentary fragrance sample with your order. These are meant as a little extra to discover something new and therefore contain slightly less than our regular 1.5 mlsamples.
Are the fragrance name and ingredients listed on the sample?
The fragrance name and brand are listed on every sample. If you’d like to learn more about the ingredients, you can find them on the relevant product page in our online shop or on your invoice.
